Little Narrows is only 1 km from junction of TCH 105 and route 223 and a short ferry ride across St. Patrick’s Channel aboard the “Caolas S’ilis”, Gaelic for Julia’s Strait. This village is beautifully located along the shores of the Bras D’Or Lakes and centrally located within Cape Breton Island-a perfect place to relax and sit awhile or take a canoe or kayak ride to visit the Little Narrows Light-operating since 1881!

A picturesque ride on Rte 223 brings you to the Highland Village in Iona, abounding in rich Scottish culture, a living history museum recreating 200 years of Scottish settlement, it is a “must see” while in Cape Breton.
